I just purchased an 04 XL F150. How do I get the door panels off without destroying anything. Will I need to replace any clips or push pins before I reinstall the panel? Has anyone removed the panels on an STX or an XL. I want to add power windows and locks, but I want to know the procedure to get the door panels off. Just looking for some help.

Its pretty simple, pop the cover off of your window crank, there is a hex head screw in the middle of the handle, then u pop off a plate in the center of your door handle, 2 screws in there, then i believe it pops off, i can't quite remember, but i tinted my windows and had to take off my door panels, and if i remember right it was really simple. and also, the door panel goes up, not out, make sure u lift up, or u will break off every clip in the door panel, hope this helps
