I've got an 04 FX4 with the towing package. A friend and I were talking yesterday (he just bought a new Silverado) and he asked what class of hitch I had. I told him that it came with a class IV hitch (per my manual) and he acted suprised and told me he had a class V on his truck. Anywho, We went out and looked at my hitch and is does say Class V on it???? Has anyone else noticed this?

 

Just look at it and mine says (V-5) on the topside of the bumper directly below the license plate. I have the tow package.
