Mach1 Scoop

I am lookin into fabricating up a shaker hood for my 04 STX can this be done, and will the ram air scoop of a Mach1 stang fit on our 4.6? and anyone has any pictures of this, it would really be appreciated. im lookin into doing some paintwork and fabricating on this Regular cab stx. thanks in advance

If you have a fax number I'll send some pictures of the Mach 1 setup. It doesnt look like the ram air will be functional but a good body shop probably could fab the scoop into the hood.

My dealer in Ada, OK was doing something like this....

They took the scoop from a mustang and fabed in onto the 04 F-150 hood.

It looked pretty cool, made it look more aggressive.

It is possable to do though.

this is the hood scoop (like the mustang) what i was thinking of ordering and maybe, i haven't looked underneath my hood yet 2 see if there is enough support but was thinking of cutting it out underneath the scoop and fabricating something to push air towards the intake, a little at leasthttp://www.roushperf.com/html/roush_f150_sport.htm
