Thumbs up Ordered my 05 F-150 SuperCrew

Finally

After test driving one a few months ago, I decided to get my own.

Aspen Green/Az Beige trim Lariat with Tan Leather
Flow thru console
Moonroof
4x4 with 3.73 LS and Skid plates
OWL off road tires
Tow package
Audiophile sound system
Black Platform Running Boards

Getting a soft Tonneau cover later, but not sure which one.
This is my first Ford and my first new vehicle in 20 years. I have
been driving GM and Imports and I have to say, this truck is really well made and drives like a dream

Now, I can't wait until it arrives at the dealership,

Scott

Congrats on the new order! It looks like we're going to have to change the forum name pretty soon. The 05's are coming down the pipe!

In related news, we've got a couple of members with 2005 King Ranch Supercrews on order as well.

It's going to take some time. Middle of December or maybe even later and now I read of a strike in Kansas City in another thread. Hopefully the strike will be resolved by then.

Those King Ranch trucks look mighty nice! I was thinking about ordering one, but went for the Lariat to save a few bucks.

Mid December is a long time to wait but it is a good Christmas gift. :santa:

Congrats...I'd love to see pics as I debated between an 05 and and 04 but I found bascially everything I wanted in an 04 and it was built late July of 04 so I hope they worked out the bugs.

Good luck with it.....have fun.

- Nanners for everyone -

Rock Pick,

Mid-December???!! I certainly hope not...

I ordered my 2005 Lariat SCREW 4x4 on 8/9 (Monday). As of 8/13 (Friday), it had been serialized (I have a VIN), and I already have a scheduled build date of 9/13. That's the second week the KC plant is open.

I hope to get it late September. December would make me furious!

Good luck to you...

Hmmm...I guess I'm a little further down the list because I just ordered it last week. I'd like to get it sooner, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait

I'll put some pics up when I do get it though. Don't see too many Aspen Green Lariats posted here. I was kind of torn between the Wedgewood Blue and this color, but the green won out when it came time to order.

Congrats on the new order. Looks like you'll have the same truck as me except a little newer. Aspen Green rocks!!

My wife actually liked the Wedgewood Blue, too so it was a tough decision, but I really llike the Green and beige color combo.

Hey thanks guys, now I hope my old truck holds together until the new one arrives

vtn98,

Looked in your gallery, sweet looking ride you have there! Have a question for you. What did the dealer do about the paint blemishes on the tailgate?

Aspen Green rocks!!
I see lots of 04 F-150's around these parts, but I've only seen one Aspen Green Lariat so far.
