Spary in liners and bed extender FYI
Spary in liners and bed extender FYI
Just wanted to let everyone know of my experience. I have an 5.5 ft bed and had the bed sprayed with a LineX. I had them keep the holes open because I intended to add a bed extender. They did but not sufficiently it turns out.
When you add the BE afterwards I had to manually thread the bolt into the center hole. That wasn't too bad. The problem is the top and bottom holes used to lock in the BE in either position. You have to add black plastic inserts to the holes to make the BE lock open or closed.
Well the linex was in the hole about 1/8 inch. I cleaned out some and got the plugs to go in but tightly. Big mistake. Make sure those whole are completely clean. With the combo of the Linex and the plugs I have to beat the post in and on one side the cap on the end of the post got stuck in the hole. I got it out and have figured out a workaround but just make sure all 3 holes are completely covered.
Just an FYI
