transmission fault?

Im driving down the road yesterday...and I hear a beep...like the low fuel warning...I look down and the display says "TRANS FAULT" but nothing felt wrong....so I turned the truck off at the stop light, turned it back on again....and it was fine, until about 7 hours later on my way back home..it did it again? This ever happen to anyone???

This is the first I’ve heard mention of that.
Better get it to your Ford dealership and have it checked out.

Something similiar happened to a woman at work and it turned out to a faulty sensor but it did eventually cause her truck to basically stop working. Of course this all happened over a 3 day period. I'd get it checked.

I would take it in to the dealer and let them pull the code(s) that was set. It is probably something simple like a sensor, better safe than sorry.
