Remote Starter/Alarm Wiring Diagram

Is anyone in need of this? I have a copy i can scan if anyone needs a copy. Every wire is labeled to the "t" and made the installation of the remote starter and alarm a breeze.

This works for the 4.6 and 5.4. (2004 models only) - not sure if other models are different.

Everyone who has emailed me, has received one.

If there are any questions on it, please let me know. I can help out with any remote start quesitons on the F150!)

Remember: To install a remote starter on this truck, you need a PATS transponder module and a programmed spare key for your truck!!!!

Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks for the link papawoodie.

I have been hesitant to do the Ford Remote Start / Alarm myself, but I hate to pay the Stealership $600 to do it for me. (kit is $272 on the website, so that is $330 just for labor).

I don't mind paying a reasonable "fee-for-service" but I sure hate BOHICA (Bend Over, Here It Comes Again).

Guess I need to order the alarm kit and get an extra key.

Thanks to sandog53, I have all of the wiring Docs I need to install a Viper alarm and keep the factory feel. The keypad will also work the alarm. You can get them here:

F150 Alarm Legend
F150 wiring
Complete Ford alarm wiring (large file)

Let me know if you have any questions, I will try to answer them.

Only question I have is, what is the "unlock switch sense", the wire is pink/orange. What exactly triggers that?

BigSCrew .... which wire do I hook up on my Viper so I can still use the door keypad? The guy who installed my Viper said I couldn't use the keypad when the alarm is activated.....
It sort of sucks not being able to use it.
