Need info please

I have a 2004 fx4 screw. When I drive on a some what bumpy paved road I notice in my review, my tailgate is rattling around and so is my box. I can stop and shake it and all is tight. Also my right rear of my tuck is lower then the left and its not the bumper its out a inch or so. Whats wrong with this thing???

Its normal. Beds rattle. Get a bedliner or cover to hush it up.

As for the one side higher than the other, that's a dealer issue.

One thing I noticed with my tailgate is that it will rattle sometimes because only one side's latch is locked in. This is because I don't shut the tailgate hard enough because it's so darn light and i don't want to slam it.

just a problem with the truck Ford has no fix for. Mine rattles the tail gate and it's closed.Dealer moved it in to quite it some but i had them move it out to keep lines clean. This bed shakes as if its coming off .My next try is take a bolt out i think there to long and nut bottoms out before the bed is tight .I worked at Dealers for over 8 yrs. dont believe there is no fix.

On rough surfaces its normal to see the bed move and flex because its bolted directly to the frame.
However I do know some of these trucks do have issues with bed shake, So if its just moving on rough surfaces I wouldnt worry about it.

Some trucks don’t have any rattles or bed shake. It might be an isolated issue with some of the assembly plants. Everyone that has rattles and bed shake could have a common denominator; for instance, build date, assembly plant, maybe even the model.

My truck does not do this...I have been over rough country roads and have had no problems with any part of the truck...Its very quiet...mine is a 01...so could be something in the design has changed that's causing these problems now...Are corners being cut ?? or is this growth pains in a new model ??
