Go and buy a different brand of truck. Then you will have something really to complain about.

After having a 04 Dodge 1500 [Rental] & YES it had the Hemi for the Lot of Good it did

- Seats were Terrrible very Soft you almost had to Fight to get out

- Serious Lack of Visability, Doors have small windows & You Sink into the Seats to make matters worse

- Hemi Ha what a Joke, you had to rev it right out to get power

- Axle Hop was Terrible & almost unavoidable

If this idea has already been thrown out, then let me start by apologizing; I did not read the entire post.

Otherwise...I think that the steering adjustment is not springload because the movement is not finite,i.e., no notches. Because there are no notches, there is an infinite number of column/wheel positions between the lower and upper-most points but there is also a need for the column to be essentially clamped into place. I suppose you could have the best of both worlds, but I would rather deal with a 'clamp' still lock that the bastard of a spring that would be needed to accomplish the same task. Just my thoughts.

edited to remove slander -- rp
Hey RP, get your terms right!
(from www.yourdictionary.com)

slander - Oral communication of false statements injurious to a person's reputation.

libel - a. A false publication, as in writing, print, signs, or pictures, that damages a person's reputation. b. The act of presenting such material to the public.

go back and re-edit that post to read "edited to remove libel"!

(you're making us geologists look bad!)

I think the argument could be made that because this is forum is multi-directional in communication (not a one voice newspaper/magazine article) that it does constitute "oral" therefore the comments were slanderous not libelous.

That’s a shame.

My F150 is perfect!
The best truck on the road by far.
