removing factory radio

I got a 2004 STX and i would like to replace the stock radio. Can someone post a write up on how to do this? It looks complicated, i don't see the 2 holes like normal and i don't see where i could pull the dash off. Pictures would be great! Thanks.

Its actually very easy, first off do a search because this was done by myself as well as Dupis to name two. Basically you just have to remove that front plastic molding surrounding the entire radio, ac controls and what not. It is held in VERY tight with clips so dont be afraid to apply some force, but do it carefully so you dont bust one of the snaps. Start at the bottom and work your way up. Once you have it off, the radio is a simple 4 screw banger. Good luck.

first off welcome to the site ...
second congrats on the new truck..
third if you pull out the tray on top of the dash first the rest is easy,, to many people DON'T pull the tray out first and they break stuff. pull out the tray on top of dash first then pry off the front panel.. watch out for the wiring for all the buttons too. good luck..
