To Mod or not to Mod- Who Mods?

After reading about the different modifications people do to their trucks, it got me to wondering. Does anyone drive the truck the way it came from Ford?

Be interesting to see/count the number of people that leaves it as it was built, how many do minor mods; i.e. bug shields, bed liners, nerf bars, new stereos, etc., and how many do major mods; i.e. lift, lower, new wheels/tires, electro-tuners, exhaust systems, complete "home" entertainment centers.

Myself, I have minor things, the truck came from the dealer with a few mods already, bed liner, window tint (front) bud shield, side window vents, putting nerf bard on tonight. Other than that, nothing else has been done, and not really thinking about doing anything - YET.

Definatly Mod it, both appearance and performance. This is a great truck stock but there is always room for improvement. The only problem is, once you start it becomes addictive.

Well.. I've had my 04 FX4 Scab exactly one week.... and it came fully loaded, minus the rear back up sensors... Well I told myself I wouldn't "MOD" this truck, because i already have over $20K in modifications on my 95 Mustang GT...

Welp.. here's my short list of mods for my truck that I just ordered.

-Billet Grill inserts for stock FX4 grill.. painted black
-Billet fuel door, will send out to be powder coated black when it arrives
-Line-x liner goes in next week
-Ford door edge protectors, black
-Front windows get tinted today

Considering one of those indash dual din DVD player/monitor with backup camera...

I purchased it on-line from Autotrim Design. Here is the link to the Texas Logo. They have all kinds of decals and if you do a search of "FORD" on the website it will pull up all they can do. If you decide to get this make sure you order the correct size.

I've always done major mods to my vehicles including performance, audio, and appearance. This truck though is great stock, so I'm leaving it that way except for a bedliner and tonneau cover. Besides, this truck is getting traded in the second one of those '06 Lightnings hit the showroom floors.

Disappointed, 300hp yeah right

You spend abouth a thousand dollars in exhaust, chip, air intake just to be disappointed. The real mod is a supercharger save up the extra for that and you will really be happy. I really like my new F-150 but what a slow piece of crap 300hp my *** it feels more like 200hp I dont think I can beat any of the other trucks out there 9 second 0 to 60 is pathetic. Ford really needs to do something about this lag in the throttle and weak power band. So there i said it. Other than that I really like the styling and interior.

If I wasn't interested in modding at least a "little bit", I'd spend my time in Reader's Digest rather than coming to a site with as much information as this one has,
