Thumbs up New Lift Installed!!!

I posted a few weeks ago that I traded in my 2003 Supercrew for a 2004 Supercrew. Well not only do I have it, I now have the 6" Fabtech lift, wheels, tires, dual stablizer, and spray in bedliner all installed! All I can say is WOW! What a sweet ride! It is a real head turner. The ride is very good too. I just got it home tonight so no pictures of it yet but I'll add them very soon. I was just excited! Sure glad I got the 2004!

Akita,

Could you please try to get some pictures of the steering stabilizers. I've been trying to find a picture of how they mount.

Smile Thanks!

Thanks. I'll get some pictures up soon. I am closing on my house and a new house the following day, all with in a week, so it's pretty hectic around here. I'll get some pictures up soon.

My truck rides pretty well. I thought it would be much worse than stock but it's not. The handling is pretty good too. I do think the dual stablizers help. I will post a few pictures of them as well.

As for cost, I actually bought my truck from the dealer, paid them, and it's all under the 3/36 warrenty. So it was all a package deal. I got the X-plan on my truck and it's a fully loaded Lariat Supercrew. The only option it doesn't have is the DVD player. The extras were about $5400. Those extras include : 6" Fabtech lift, Eagle Alloy wheels with all locking lugs, Nitto Terra Grappler tires (325's), remote start, chrome nerf bars, and the spray in bed liner. This price was parts and labor. I got the truck for right at $41,000.

All I can say is I love and have already had many compliments. I can't wait to now move into the new house so I can park it in the garage! It wont fit in my garage now, but my new house has 8' tall garage doors!

I'll get the pictures up soon!

I just ordered the 6" fabtech kit a few days ago and have an appointment to get it installed in two weeks. It sucks because normally I would install the lift myself, but I do not have a heavy duty spring compressor.

Anyways, how does the back end feel? I payed $160 extra for some bilstine shocks because I have always felt that febtech's shocks were way too stiff.

Somail, the back end seems fine. I really don't notice too much of a difference from stock to be honest with you. I was shocked at how good the ride is versus a 1997 Chevy Tahoe I had a 4" lift on. All I can say is it's a new truck through and through! I'll try and post a few pictures tonight. Truck was dirty but at least you can see it. More to come.........
