Just tuned mine with the 87 octane setting. Whoa! The first time I floored it I barked the tires when it shifted from 1-2 at WOT. I was not expecting that at all, so of course I had to try a few more times. Awesome!

We'll I guess that's one way to justify new tires.

I ordered mine yesterday form Troyer (anita) and I was tolded they will be shipped out Thursday/Friday with an update to deal with it when you already have the Ford update.

Great discount. (which is the only reason I bought it so soon) and great people to talk with at Troyers. Thanks

I'll let you know how it feels.

I wouldn't wait. I would call them right now. They have had it a week (along with your money).
Just got off the phone with Superchips. My tuner should be shipped from them on Friday. So, depending on the carrier they use, I may not get it until Monday depending on if their overnight shipping includes Saturday delivery.

Your not going to feel the difference between the 87 program and the Performance Program as you did between stock and 87. The main thing you are feeling with stock to 87 is the firmer shifts and that alone makes it feel quicker and stronger.

I can tell you from a stop watch perspective that there is a difference between the 87 program and the Performance Program. The way I check is not the most scientific but is a good rule of thumb for me. I kick it around 10 mph or so, so that I know its in 1st gear. When the speedometer hits 30mph I start the watch and stop it when I reach 70 mph. From past exeperience these time will be fairly close to your 0-60 times. On 87 octane program i got 8.82 seconds. Once switched to the High Performance tune I got 8.34 seconds. While there will be some margin of error because of its controlled by my finger thats still a half second difference between the two programs.

After this tank I plan to fill backup with 87 and put the stock program back in. I have done this test in the past before the programmer but I honestly cant remember what I ran. So I will put it back to stock and find out. I want to know the difference between stock and high performance tune.

I overnighted my tuner to Superchips because of the "Tuner requires an update" message last week. They received it on Wednesday morning according to the FedEx tracking web site, and it was confirmed by them on the phone when I called them later that morning. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for them to send it back to me. I'm going to be calling them again tomorrow morning if I don't hear anything by then.
They've had mine since last Tuesday and I've called three times to find out the status and all I get is a "It takes a few days". Was told this yesterday (one week after they received it). A 'few' days to me is two or three, not eight or nine. I told them I paid extra to have it next day shipped to me and then I had to pay to ship it to them and I still have nothing. Would I be compensated for this. He told me to fax a copy of my shipping receipt for shipping it to them and I would be reimbursed for that but nothing for the next day shipping I originally paid for. This is really a bummer.

I was worried about having to send mine back to Superchips because I had my PCM flashed in June. Thankfully it worked like a charm right out of the box.

Well, I finally did it. Installed the tuner in my '04 Expy two days ago. Mine being the 2 valve 5.4 I probably don't get the full advantage of the tune. I can say that the firmer shifts are nice and the vehicle does seem a little "quicker". I don't think I am getting the 10% HP and 15% torque gains that are claimed by Superchips, but I also can't say for sure that I'm not. If anyone out there has had success with different settings on the tune please let us know.

That means nothing unless you can tell us how many gallons you used.
