No offence to you women out there but Toyota Tundra is a girly truck. I just looked at a pic of the 04 and 05, come on man it looks like a big Camry.
Ok looks aren't everything a hope you test-drive both so you can decide on your own that the F150 is a superior vehicle.

when it all comes down to it, it's basically brand loyalty and what you like in style, Most trucks are dependable but all have their flaws. for me im loyal to ford and have always loved the style, ride, and quality i recived with mine. I'm 21 and ive owned a Lightning, 03 F150, mustang. and it will never stop ill always own a ford. and yes i payed for them all myself
go me! my credit scores are good...... banana for me!!!
and one for my ford brothers represent

My buddy just bought a Tundra and swears by it, but he has been buying toys since his mom bought him one at 16. He's one of those people that buys into the Toyota hype lock stock and barrel.
I asked him why he bought a new truck (he had a 2 year old Taco TRD before the Tundra) and he said "I drove my truck down to Mexico and it fell apart so I needed a new one". He is such a Toyota fanboy he didn't even realize what he said.
I know Baja can punish a truck, if I drove my F150 down there and it "fell apart" I wouldn't be running out to buy another Ford.....

I just read that the new 2005 Tundra will have 282 hp with 328 lbs of torque AND a new 5 speed transmission! They're also very, very light so I bet it will give the hemi and Titan a run for their money.

so you are considering a truck that has the same cheesy brakes... but with the benefit of added body weight.
If you thought the brakers were ***** before, they will be worse now.

Do me a favor and don't show your ignorance anymore. Moron.
Also, if you read my previous message I said that the brakes were fixed.

Jake,
There's no need to come here and directly insult other members of the forum. Even if you don't agree with what they have to say.
Aside from that: I come from a family that has always owned Toyotas. Even my wife's family all own Toyotas. Between the two families, there is 3 Tundras, 3 Camrys, 1 Tacoma, and 1 Avalon already. Yikes!
The Tundra was at the top of my list and I was about to purchase one from the dealer both families always purchase their vehicles from (we get treated well there to say the least) ...until I stopped at the Ford lot across the street and test drove the F150 SuperCrew Lariat. I was most impressed by the interior in F150. Ford really one-upped the rest of their competition with this years truck.
Needless to say, I went back to the ford lot and bought the Lariat the next day. IMO, it blew the Tundra out of the water. Haven't had any problems with it yet. But, I only have about 1500 miles so far.
