Has anyone else seen a F150 XTV Extreme Terrain Vehicle?

I was recently on a trip in FL, and I saw one parked at a movie theater. I didn't have my camera, sorry. It looked like it sat a bit higher than the FX4, bigger tires, etc.

Anyone know about this truck, couldn't find anything in the search or on the FORD web site.

Enquiring minds want to know!

 

There is no such 'production' vehicle direct from FoMoCo. Sounds like an aftermarket package somebody slapped on and sold via a dealer. Or just an owner that wants to be different.

 

Probably a conversion done by a local shop. We have a company out here, California Customs, that does a lot for the dealer. It's not unusual to see a dealer with a brand new truck on the lot, lifted, big tires etc. Dealers really mark it up though. Big market for the poser crowd, you know, the kind that want the look, but don't want to get their hands dirty.

Might of been a local dealer conversion....wish I had my camera. Had the XTV right where the FX4 would go. Looked pretty good. Didn't have XLT or Lariat on the name badges on the side, it did have the 5.4.

Interesting look though. Just wondering of our FL friends had any ideas on it.

 

I dont think a local dealer did it. I think the owner did.


Ever hear of a Focus SVT RALLY?

I saw one in Dallas about 6 months ago. Asked the driver and he said he added this and that, found some cool emblems and made his own model of Focus.
