Time can Heal
I bought my F-150 Screw XLT 3.55 LS 5.4 on March 1st. Before long, I noticed the acceleration hesitation and the rear end shudder. I procrastinated, waiting to see if I was going to develop additional problems before taking it to my dealer.
By the time I hit 4,000 miles both symptoms went away. The acceleration has improved greatly. I have had rear end shudder only twice in the last 2,000 miles.
The recently purchased Kleen Wheels seem to have cured my "brake dust on the wheels problem".
Now, if my gas mileage would improve, I could get happy. I would be even happier if someone came at night and took those Continental tires and left me some Goodyears or Michelins.
