Question QUICK HELP: remove front emblem

I want to remove the front emblem to make it easier to apply my new overlay. So I removed the speed nuts, but it doesn't pull out easily. I didn't want to pull hard and break the emblem or grill.

Looks like there are some holes on the back to 'pry' with, but I can see well enough to figure out what to pry with, and how to pry.

Do you pry around the pegs from the back?

Is it glued on?

Just give it a good hard yank?

i didnt take my front one off when i installed my grill, but my tailgate got backed into and when it got fixed, i watched them put it on. It had to guide pins like the front, and double sided auto tape also.
I would assume it is tape holding the front also.

My advice would be to leave it on and do it.

Just poke or pry at from the back, it will come out.

Just tap lightly on the pins/guidepin from the back while pulling slightly on the oval from the front...don't worry about breaking anything, but don't bend the pins up/down/sideways too far.

In order to remount/center the oval on my Street Scene Speed Grill, it was necessary to remove the guide pin.

Just went out and tried this and it worked perfectly. Nothing broken, but made a horribble screeching noise. Thanks!
