Headers do not come with a vehicle stock. Those are manifolds and the bolts, especially exposed to heat can be very tight. When tightening them on to the head, you must be very carefull not to overtighten them or you will crack either the manifold or the head. Or you will strip out the hole. The good thing is that headers are pretty hard to crack. - Ive never put exauhst on a newer vehicle. I have however put headers on older vehicles and be prepared to start pulling sh*t out. Even on older vehicles it can be a bear. When you finally do get them into place, make sure you tighten all of the bolts evenly, kinda like a tire, or youll have exhaust leaks up the ying yang.

Good God man! That truck is awesome. Well done.

As for the headers, you probably won't need jack stands to put them in with the lift you got on there. nice, real nice.

i was going for that with my truck but now I gotta sell it. my fiance sounds like 69bigblock's wife. she says, "well, at least you got owning a truck out of your system." damn, no lift for me.

Also good to retighten after you let the engine heat up and cool back down again to help seat the gasket.
