Stupid question about center car seat tether...

I have a really dumb question about the center car seat tether in my F-150 Supercab. The thing sticks straight up in the middle of the rear seat. It's not as bad when the rear window is closed, but as soon as I open the power rear sliding window, it becomes so noticeable. Is there anything that I can do so that thing isn't sitting there flipping me off all the time?

Yep, remove the staple (carefully, don't break your window) from the plastic sheath, slide sheath off strap, fold strap behind seat out of sight. Last fall, this was a common complaint of early owners.

Yup! Bugged the hell out of me. I didn't notice until I got back there that there are two more, one behind each head rest. You can't see them from the front seats, but you can when you're outside the truck. I took care of all three while I was back there. Now I notice it in all other '04's that I am behind. I want to pull up to them at a red light and tell them to fix it!

Thanks guys. This board is great. I will search a little more thoroughly in the future for threads that deal with common issues like this. As a new owner, I am learning all of these things a year later than most of you guys. Thanks again.
