Save up a couple of more Kbucks and get a Whipple or Kenne Bell superchagrer kit for it.

I'd wait. Why? Two reasons - Even @ Troyer you cannot get a programmer yet. Their Stage 1 kit for the F-150 looks great, as you get cold air intake, PCM flash & Magaflow exhaust all for $1100. So why wait?! You have to send your PCM in for the flash... so your truck is dead for at least 2 days ...and if you take it in and they flash it... buh-bye!

Second reason - the engine is still young, and those bad **** superchargers are not to far off... and by the time they are released you may have the cash to go for the gusto.. I know I'm saving my pennies... hee hee..

That 1100$ kit sounds good, i don't mind the 2-day wait (2 other cars to drive)...

The other guys are right too. The supercharger is the best bank for your buck. However, if you are ooking to get a more responsive, low end powered truck with a good 7 tenths off your times. Then go w/ Troyer. I would wait to get the programmer. though. I am waiting for it. Only for warranty reasons.

I just put 410 gears in my 04 f150. I lost the power with 36 inch procomps and just geared back to stock. Next is the engine.

This is for people who dont care about going fast, nor do they have the need for massive acceleration. My father is exactly like this and cannot understand why I do "ANY" modifications to my truck. He thinks the new splash guards he put on his truck make it look, quote, "tough as hell". LOL!!!

But, here is the catch. My Dad has a ****load more money in the bank than I do and I am sure you do too Oscar-a-wiggy. Smart man you are.

However, the military offers me a free retirement and good pay. So I am going to waste my money. LOL!!!

Man, how old are you and how good are you with computers? Because the whole damn service is going to computers. I came in over 8 years ago at 18 years old. It was very "manual" then. Now, everthing is on computers.

27 and the best. Unfortunately the service doesn't pay better than the private sector. Even with the pension plan.
