Probably not, but it depends on what the re-enlistment bonus is. For instance, an Air Traffic Controller gets around a 65,000 re-enlistment bonus for every six years of re-enlistment. Myself as a Munitions Systems Specialist, I get around 20,000 for every six years plus my annual pay of around 42,000 a year of which 12,000+ is tax free due to housing allowance and food credit. I roughly bring home(after taxes) $1520.00 every two weeks as an E-5 with 8 years. Not too bad on a H.S degree.

Free retirement, free medical, dental, tax free housing allowance and food credit, 250,000 in life insurance for 15.00 a month. I am cool sitting with this. But, you have to put up with alot of $#!T

I have no idea on computers. I can check though just for poops and laughs.

I'd wait. Why? Two reasons - Even @ Troyer you cannot get a programmer yet. Their Stage 1 kit for the F-150 looks great, as you get cold air intake, PCM flash & Magaflow exhaust all for $1100. So why wait?! You have to send your PCM in for the flash... so your truck is dead for at least 2 days ...and if you take it in and they flash it... buh-bye!

Second reason - the engine is still young, and those bad **** superchargers are not to far off... and by the time they are released you may have the cash to go for the gusto.. I know I'm saving my pennies... hee hee..
Well I did not wait and am glad I went with the Stage I package from Troyer. I would not let the dealer get close to my PCM. As for no programmer yet, its just around the corner. The 1714 should be out from Superchips by the end of July. Yes I was greedy and wanted an improvement NOW! But what good does money do when its sitting there just ready to spend !!

I don't drive my truck every day so sending the PCM was not an issue. I sent it to them on a Monday morning and it was in my hands by noon on Wednesday. The magnaflow was a snap to install. I had the original exhaust off the truck in about 15 minutes and another 20 to install the Magnaflow. I spent about 30 minutes to remove the orignal intake and install the new one. I had also installed a Plasma Ignition booster a few weeks before.

Man -o- man! what a difference in driving pleasure. My choice for programming was a Tow/Performance on 91 octane. I tow a T.T. and for me this was a best choice. I WILL be getting the programmer when available. Yes I know, more money I need to burn

Cool, what kind of power increase do you think it gave ya? I am curious because I am going with the all out 93 octane performance tuning. I already have the Magnaflow exhaust an I am also doing the fan kit, intake and pulleys. Should liven her up.

You should do a run at the track so we can see some times. Just for *****'S and

Good deal man. Enjoy it.

From Mike Troyer my package gave me 22-25HP @ 2000 rpm and 35 @ 3000 rpm and I can say the it pulls nice and hard from low to high rpms. Throttle response is amazing too. BANG! its there. And the shifts are VERY positive, some might say a little stiff but I can deal with that. I pulled my TT the other day and the shift was just right under load. Today I ordered the pullys and a Gaterback belt. Now I've said this once before, I won't even try to get a mileage line on this yet as I haven't driven like a sane man since I got the darn stuff on the truck. Maybe in a week or two

The other day we went to do a little shopping, as I entered a parking lot I just nudged the throttle and broke the wheels loose. The wife got all over me about it. Gots to be a little more careful when shes with me.

I don't drive this to work, (Wish I did), as I have a company supplied work truck (2000 Dodge 2500, service type body, real DOG!) So I find myself running erands all over the place for the wife or making excuses to go to the hardware or wherever just to drive my baby. Now to figure out how to get the wife's Honda out of the garage and me into it. Need to cut the door higher too.
Hhmmmmm lets see..... where is that sawsall?

Its all on the computers but maybe wireless is next. Sure be nice to get a stack of electronics the way some of the better planes have when I rent them (Not cessna). Even offerred as an expensive option, there are some nice things to dump on that wasted console space where the ash tray is with a nice flip up screen or better yet, HUD.
