when i pulled the dash off i noticed a extra connector looks like it was for a access. i dont have just curious what it is maybe for lariats?
no big deal just made me think it somehting i can install or what not lol

thats what i think but i not sure.
hopefully someone with a lariat will open his dash and see what it plugs into or someone that has already seen it . oh well no biggie i was just cerious about it

I think it's for the deactivate switch for trucks that have rear park aid. I'm thinking about seeing if all the wiring is already there and, if so, buying the stuff to add the factory reverse park aid to mine.
If the green connector is on the driver's side just to the right of the steering column and near the very bottom of the dash, it's probably the connector for the brake controller used with trailers that have electric brakes.
My truck came with a matching connector with pigtail wires, a battery isolation relay, and a set of instructions in a plastic bag.
I pull a pop-up camper with electric brakes and I made a jumper from this connector to a 4-pin connector I mounted on the left side of the steering column that fits the plug on my brake controller. Then I put velcro on the dash panel and stick the controller there when I need it. It also fits my wife's '02 Explorer, so I can move it to where I need it.
