toolbox under rear seat of extended cab

Does anyone know where I can get a box that fits nicely under the rear seat of the 2004 F-100 extended cab pickup?

Welcome to the board!

Ford actually has a storage bin that fits under the seat. I am not sure what you want to put in it, but I bought one of those clear storage bins from Home Depot. They have different sizes that you can work with. They fit well and are cheap.

If you're looking for an actual tool box, Home Depot has lots of different sizes of those as well.

According to this, there is not one available yet for the 04's but you may want to contact them to see if they plan on making one.

Here you go. If I didn't have my sub under there, I would get one of these.

Thanks, Dupuis. I've been looking for something like that. Bed is already short enough without adding a toolbox for the little odds and ends that I carry, IMO. This would do me just right.

I was going to buy one of those from Ford, but the sales person said he's gotten quite a few complaints about them not fitting right. He all but told me not ot order them!

Its plastic, you could always just trim it with tin snips were needed.

Go to Sears. I got a low profile tool box there that works perfectly.

F-150 2004 extended cab toolbox

I purchased the factory plastic toolbox referenced in other inputs to this inquiry. It was over $100 and of incredibly low quality. It came with one bracket broken off, and the other fell off in my hand. One of the 3 fasteners was missing. This sort of quality makes me think poorly of ford in general for allowing it to be built and sold. It is poorly designed and flimsy. I'll be talking to the dealer where I bought it next week.
