thanks to all of you for your very kind words.

Truck Of Doom, I bought in Pasadena off of Hill near the 210. It's a great little 2 bedroom place. Did you buy a truck yet? Are you interested in buying mine perhaps?

JohnAndDar, yes I am getting hitched in February. She is as sad as I am about selling the truck. She is a good woman and loves the truck as much as I do.

It's a hard decision to make to get rid of the best damn truck ever made, but I know it is the right decision. I am 25, soon to be marrried, and I own my own home (well, the bank actually owns my home).

The reason I have to sell it for less than I owe is because the truck ain't worth what I owe. I have to be real about it and take what I can get. The truck has been perfectly maintained and is loaded, so hopefully I won't get fleeced too bad. It sucks being upside down on a loan. Oh well, chalk it up to a lesson learned.

Congrats on the house and the marriage (I didn't know). I sorry to see you have to get rid of the truck but you are doing the right thing. If I was as smart as you I would be driving a compact too. Best of luck to you and I hope to see you back here one day.

Yep, better to get out of the deal than get a bad credit report or bill collectors showing up at your door. That would cause way more damage.

Good Luck. I think we have all been there in some form or another.

Absolutely. I will never get near a bad credit report just to have a truck. I have perfect credit and I am trying to keep it that way.

Hopefully I will have another truck someday, but having the F-150 for 9 months got it out of my system for a while. I love the truck but I think I'll make due without it for a while.

thanks oneagle1. I may still stop by here, but obviously I won't have the same motivation as I used to.
