Yeah, Dupuis method only works on 2 wheel drive. I looked all over for a spot. Kind of started getting into it back by the spare tire but gave up. Mine slides up under the box where the rear pass feet would normally be.

That jack mount is really easy to work with. Has 2 bolt holes with rubber grommets to keep it quiet. Just got to find a spot to bolt it down.

Jimbo5o, Did you ever move out to the states? Did your truck make it alright? Last I remember, you were coming home.

Jimbo5o,
Which sub box is that? Is that the one from Super Crew? Do you run 8s or 10s? Which subs?

Check out my setup in my gallery. I have had absolutely no problems with heat and that includes a 22 hour drive from Boston to Miami listening to music, watching DVD's, and ps2.

Hope you figure something out...

Yeah, I made it back......Getting all settled into my new desert lifestyle. Talk about one extreme to the other..... The truck and the bike made it unscathed. Thanks for asking.....

kanter:
I built the box and amp rack myself. I am currently running an 8, but am redoing the whole setup this weekend. I'll be doing a 10 and adding another amp.

pepatrick:
I don't have any accurate dimensions as the box got modified a bit during construction to make it fit the way I wanted. (what a mess, brand new truck, black interior, and lots of sawdust). When I build the new box I will have some good specs. It will be similar to what I have now. I will post some pics of the new setup when I am finished.

Later,
Jim
