New user & New Truck

Got my 2004 F150 about 4 weeks ago. What a difference over the 2002 I had. They should of changed the name, cause its not the same truck. This is my 6th Ford Truck and my 3rd F-150. Previous 1999, 2002 and now 2004 Supercab XLT 5.4 Triton with 3.73 limited slip in Arizona Beige. Got a few extra's:
towing package
fog lights
larger michelin tires
polished aluminum wheels
Well this is a great web site, lots of good info. Any suggestions for mufflers and also is there a K&N filter out for the 2004 5.4 liter motor. thanks BB

Congrats on the new truck and welcome to the forum!

K&N's filter is still in development, I think they were saying late summer?

For exhaust, people seem to like the Borla split cat back and the Flowmaster. There's differing opinions on those. I have the Borla and I like it. I can't really comment on the Flowmaster since I haven't seen it.

Congrats and welcome.

I just replaced stock muffler with a magnaflow muffler and tip. Love it tons. Volant has an intake out for $300 for your truck at

thanks

Question,
I have been asking if anyone knows the deal with these wheels. They were an option on my truck from the factory. They are not the steel wheels, the sticker stated polished alum. I cannot find them on Fords web site or the brochure. Here is a link to the same wheels on my truck.
thanks bb[IMG]
