When I in my 01 Lariat, stalked and then blew past an 04 Lariat of the same color on the beltway one night a few weeks ago. He tried to catch me, but I could pull away at will. Of course I have a 1715 Microtuner program installed and aftermarket exhaust. His top speed limiter must have been kicking in. I'm sure with the same mods on his end, it would be a little more competetive. We gave each other the thumbs up. Nice trucks both of them.

I guess mine had to be on my 1st road trip for a campout at a buddy's place in East Texas. I was enjoying how The truck handled on a narrow winding country road while running about 70-80 mph and I thought I was gonna miss my cutoff. I didn't think there was any way she would stop enough to make it but I stomped on those disks and slung her onto that dirt road going all sideways with dust kicking up and my new truck handled like a dream. I slowed down to hit the ASOF into 4H for the little creek crossing and it was one helluva weekend.

I would have to say any time I go out in public. With the 35's the truck sits so high that everybody notices.

Eddy - where did you find a sub box for that thing? I looked back there and didnt think i could make it happen with even one 10". Made it even worse by installing an amp right in the middle of the hump. Where to put it......

My favorite moment

My favorite moments were:
1- Pulling up in the driveway and all the neighbors going nuts over my new truck. ( Proud Ford Owner )
2- At the boat ramp everyone looking over my truck and boat. My Nitro sure looks good behind her.
I LOVE THIS TRUCK! WAY TO GO FORD!!!!

Arizona Beige / tan upgraded interior
3.73 limited slip
Polished Alum wheels with upgraded Michelins
Keypad on drivers door ( I love this option )

Walked out of a friends apartment on the way to another and saw 3 rednecks with their faces glued to the glass, trying to see in my truck. When I asked if they wanted to see inside, they said "that your truck???"
I said yeah, and they just kind of scattered....

Beaver -
I bought my sub box from SoundoffAudio through their website. It came to about $150 with shipping I think. They did a really nice job with it and even sent me the extra carpeting. With the extra carpeting I made another small enclosure that tucks a little under the driver seat and on the rear floormat to cover the amp since it wont completely fit under the seat. It looks really nice but it does sacrifce some leg room behind the driver if thats important (I am 6'3 and ride with the seat all the way back...no legroom anyways)

Pulling the father-in-law's 3/4 ton 4x4 454 Sub out of the mud. And then hooking up to the trailer and pulling it through the goo that got him stuck in the first place...

Stuck up to the diff.

My mother-in-law thought this was hilarious. Wish she would have taken pics of the F150 pulling out the 20' enclosed.

so I hold the brake and just start roasting the tires til the whole truck is covered in smoke
Mine won't spin unless it's wet (ok, maybe just a little on dry pavement)...so this morning I power-braked it for the first time, just for a few seconds. I can see how that would be lots of fun but I worry about the stress on the drivetrain and rear brakes. But yeah...it was fun and would be even more fun if I did it long enough to smoke the tires

Smokin the ole tires...ahhhh memories of my old 1967 Mustang .....the days of no smog devices...when men were men and women were glad of it!
True motorheads never get too old to enjoy a good burnout.

I can't believe no one did this, with all the wise-***** on this site, but.

Breaking in the back seat with your wife is my best memory in a 2004 F-150 too!

I'm just kidding.... You all have nice trucks.
I can't get over how cool this one is...
