Are the new driveshafts out yet? I took mine in for the vibe again and now they want to try a driveshaft but it wont be in until Tuesday. Are they availabel yet or are they on back order still?

 

My truck was in the shop for three weeks, waiting for a driveshaft, so at one time the part was on backorder, and may still be.

After installation, the vibe was still there.

Well i went to drop my truck off this moening and the service writer said they didnt have it yet so he called back to parts and they said they couldnt get it and have to call Ford today to find the right part #. The service writer thought it would be in today but i had a feeling it wasn't going to be that easy and quick! I will let you know when it comes it! Why not get your truck back until the shaft comes in no sense of leaving it there and pay for a truck you can't drive because there waiting for a part!
