Hmmm, I've had my XLT Screw for about 6 months and plug in my fuel charges on Ownersite.com. I've got just over 5100 miles on my truck but Ownersite's calculations averages my mpg at only 10.23mpg. Seems kind of low to me. I admit I have a pretty heavy foot and most of my driving is city driving which could explain it but it still seems too low. Because of this, I don't do much highway driving because I can't afford it.

My average mileage between fillups is around 180miles to 240miles (tops on highway). I hate to see how much I spend on gas at the end of the year. Anybody got any recommendations to improve mileage. I've got a new muffler and K&N filter already installed.

Holy crap! 180 miles. Im going at least 300 miles on city driving. Almost 400 on highway.

When I fill up my tank my meter says theres usually about 350-370 miles left till E.

Mine always says 384 - 390 till E after a fill up. If you just want to feel good about your mileage. disconnect your battery to reset the computer. Then go fill up, it will say something like 450 till E. I had to do that while working on the intake and when I saw that I busted up laughing.

17-18 on the highway; 14-15 around town. Reset the MPG readout while your cruising down the road to get an accurate reading of the mileage your getting at that moment. I reset mine at each fill-up.

I’ve been averaging about 15.4 mpg. This is about 90% city driving. I got a 30 gal tank, which equates to about 460 miles a tank full. For the first few thousand miles, my average mpg was 16, maybe 16.2, but this was feather footing it. I don’t drive the crap out of it now, but it gets floored a few times a week just because.

Our trucks are the same for MPG comparisons and after 3400 miles I'm now getting just under 14 MPG. I noticed about a 1 MPG improvement after about 1200 miles. My 14 MPG is based on all city driving... never more than 1 mile without hitting the brakes.

Thanks. I wish you had given me better news than that, but I guess it's what I expected anyway. I guess the fact that it has been in the 90's every day since I got it doesn't help. It will be nice in the fall...when I open all four power windows, the power rear slider, and the power moonroof, it's almost like having a convertible!

MPG's - I'm serious

Well, seems that no-one believes my mpg's (19-19.5), so assuming I ever get my truck back from the dealer for the rear end fix, maybe I'll try to take some snapshots of the odometer/mpg calculator.

Seriously, I get about 600 miles on a tank of gas. I'm currently driving a Ford focus, while waiting on my truck to get our of the shop and when I checked that, it only is getting about 27 MPG's.

So I'm certainly pleased with my MPG's on the truck.
