Thumbs up My New F-150

I just got my new 2004 F-150 this afternoon after studying and studying this truck and the dealerships in my area. I think I got one hell of a good deal. Tell me what you think, I would be interested to hear. I got a 4dr Screw Lariat Rwd 5.5ft SB in Medium Wedgewood Blue Clearcoat Metallic / Arizona Beige Clearcoat Metal, leather captain's chairs (I love that new option), 6 disc cd player, trailer towing package, 3.55 limited slip axle, reverse sensing system, bed extender, sliding rear window. MSRP was $36,050 I got it for $29,215 this also included an after market spray on bed liner, a retractable hard tonneau cover with lock, and the 5 year/100,000 mile warranty. According to edmonds.com the invoice for this truck was $31,541 and that was without the bedliner, tonneau cover or warranty. I love this truck!!!!!

You made a super good deal on the price and extras...

Why did you not get the 4x4 and what size wheels/tires did you get with it...Got a picture to show us yet...Love that colour you picked...What size motor ??

Best of luck with your new rig and enjoy it...

Don't you just LOVE the pricing we get here in Texas on our best-selling trucks!? You made out VERY well with getting the liner and top included in that price!!!

Congrats on the new ride!

All the info you'll probably ever need can be found on this www.F150online.com forum as well as www.Ford-Trucks.com.

Questions answered

Sorry for not responding sooner to all of your questions, but I'm sure you understand. Been to busy simply lovin this truck. To answer the previous questions though: I live in Houston and drive 70 miles around trip to work so I have very limited use for a 4x4 eventhough I love the way they sit a bit higher and have great looking tires on them. I'm playing around with maybe having it lifted to get that look. My tires right now are just the stock p265/60R18 OWL A/L. The engine is the 5.4 liter. Of course I have already takin some pictures of my truck, now I just need to figure out how to post them. Thanks for you questions and comments. If anyone has any sugestions about anything please write me.

GB

You got a real deal. I actually paid a bit more, and I got X Plan through my wifes company, and did not get bedliner or cover.

I am also in Houston, so it is a good comparison.

I did order mine when there were very few on the lots yet, so I am sure I paid a little more for not waiting till the lots were full of them, but it was sure fun for a month or two seeing people checking out the "new kid in town"

Have fun with it. They are great trucks.

I also went with 4X2 since there are very few off road opportunities aroung H town
