Got my a.r.e. bed cover on, along with the pin stripe, front license plate and rear hitch cover.

The truck looks lower in the rear in the pic but its just how the drive way is, and yes thats a van behind the bed on the truck.

Tell me about your grille... what kind is it and does it just bolt over the existing or does it replace the existing. I'd like to find a grille that doesn't bolt over the existing, yet still has the big FORD symbol in the middle.

BTW, you've got a great looking truck.

purty_2004,

My grill is a replacement grill, I had to take out the honeycomb grill and install this one.

I also used the original ford emblem. I put it back on with 2 sided tape.

It is a carriage works grill and I got it from ebay.

Where did you find that good looking Lariat tag on the front of your truck? Loogs good and I'd like to have one or myself.

jimsridin,

I ordered the tag and rear hitch plug from trail blazers, a local accessories shop. I think they have a website called www.truckaddons.com but I doubt they list the tags on it.

If you are intrested you could call them at (606) 432-5507 and ask for a custom license plate with "lariat" on it and tell them what color background you want.

It takes a few weeks to get the tag in.

Was the tag and hitch plus something you had specially made or was it just a matter of ordering? How much for the front tag?

jimsridin,

It was just somthing I thought up to put on the plate. On my other old lariat I had one that just said ford.

They can get the stainless plate with the lettering and font you want on it, with what ever color back ground you choose.

I think it was around 50.00 maybe a little more for the front tag I cant remember because I ordered more things when I ordered the tag.

1968 gt/cs california special. It uses the same rear tail lights as the sheblys.
