Hail Sale at Woodhouse

FYI- There's a hail sale going on at Woodhouse Motors in Blair, NE. Over 4000 new cars (including tons of ford and dodge trucks) marked down because of hail damage. 90% of them with some kind of damage. They just opened their "Truck Mountain", so there's a ton available.

Saw that on tv

Saw that on tv last night... they were showing a whole bunch of 150s with busted windshields, dents that looked like hammers had been taken to the truck...

Between that and being stuck in traffic last night right down by Chalco Hills with the hail and tornado sirens going off, it makes me glad that i only have one hail dent on my hood from this past weekend of storms.

And here i've been considering moving out to Nebraska Hail damage, tornado sirens??? Uhh, maybe waiting on an earthquake aint all that bad.

I can't imagine an entire dealership getting wiped out in a hail storm, what kind of deals do they make on these hammered trucks? I'd assume when the windshield goes the interiors get wet?

Saw a softball sized hailstorm hit in Bowling Green, Kentucky back in 2000. The center of the storm/hail was immediately located where the mall, wal-mart, and all the car dealers were located. It was amazing that no one lost their life. Very scary stuff... needless to say, they didn't resale those vehicles; they're hard to test drive when the windshield has been beat into the front seats.

maybe they should invest their money like a nissan plant did. nissan got this machine that somehow repels hailstorms. nothing like spending millions of dollars to protect vehicles, forget protecting people....

Their website is " www.woodhouse.com " Go to their Ford site and see their truck mountain.

There's a story in the paper about the damage their today, but the paper didn't put the story on their website omaha.com .
People were jumping at the sales on Monday (storm was Sat.night) I've heard (depending on the damage) that you can save anywhere from $1000-$7000 off.

Wish they had some pics of this thing. Sounds like a giant woofer.

I think i'd have to save a heck of a lot more than that to take a truck beat up like that.

That's pretty amazing technology. I'm just glad I don't live near the plant! That thing booming off every 5 seconds would drive me mad.

Hail the size of softballs!!!!!! Eek!!!!
I am glad we don't have that over here.
Not a single greenhouse would survive I guess.

Really curious if that machine would work.
