Regular Cab 2004 F-150?

Are all the "regular cab" 2004 F-150's the trucks with the little like two feet of extra space between the passanger and driver seat? Can I order the truck just like a normal regular cab without the little extra storage space behind the seats? I really don't like the look of the truck like that, and would like a normal regular cab...if you understand what I'm saying. Thanks.

Matt

For 2004, even the "standard" cabs have short doors.

Before you make a decision - go look at one up close and personal.

They are a good looking truck.

I own a Scab FX4 so you know there is no bias.

I did, and I just can't seem to like them. The only good thing I could think of for back there would be that I wouldn't have to have a custom speaker box made for my subs, and that would save me a little cash, but I'd rather have the shorter cab.

I own a Reg. Cab and I love it. That extra space allows you to recline the seat a little bit and store some extra stuff. I hate sitting up so damn staright I feel like I am leaning into the steering wheel.

I traded my '02 reg. cab for the '04 reg. cab because of that extra space. I only have 1 vehicle and it is great for having lockable out of the rain storage for getting groceries and such. Plus it is nice to be able to lay back the seat when on a road trip. The look of the little doors grows on you and once you have that extra space you will wonder why they didn't do this before.

I think the look is great. There is somthin' about the longbed reg cab that looks like a beast. Almost makes me reconsider my longbed scab.....
