Talking UPDATE - Rear DVD install, Daystar, and window tint

Just wanted to let you guys know I got the pics up of a few more mods I did on my 04 SCREW.

I know a few of you actually e-mailed me asking to be informed when I got these pics up so here you are....

The pics I added were of the 15% window tint. A 10.4" screen in the back with wireless headphones, and the Daystar Lift. Also not pictured which I have had since installed is the MagnaFlow cat-back.

Let me know what you guys think and don't forget to give me some good ratings...

-Antonio

Just curious...why did you choose 15% tint? I thought the equivlant of the stock "privacy glass" was 20%....maybe I'm wrong. I know there isn't much difference but I'd want it to match exactly because I'm that OCD. Your truck looks great!

15%? Damn those tint laws. North Carolina law is 35% and I know its a lot hotter down here than Mass.

Great looking truck Neptuno! Nice Work.

neptuno1,

Bad *** mods man. The craftsmanship looks great... very impressive.

I'm guessing you made or had the radio bezel made correct?

I heard somewhere that the stock privacy glass was 17%. I got my front windows tinted 20% and I can tell a very slight difference. Looking at the pics of the 15%, looks like there's a very slight difference there as well.

Actually, I looked at his pictures again (with 15%), and I can't really see a difference between the front and rear windows from the pictures. In one of the pictures there is a little glare on the back window, and that's what I thought looked a little lighter than the front windows. Maybe Antonio can jump in here and tell us if there is a very slight difference. If the privacy glass is 17%, I think I personally would prefer the front windows be a tad lighter than the back, rather than the other way around. But then again, 15 is a little closer match to 17 than 20 is.

Also, you might check with your window tinter and see if they can do 17%. I heard the stock privacy glass was 17% after I had mine done at 20.

The tint % varies. One shop may have 13% and another may have 17%, but they'll both call it 15%.
