Sorry for the delay. I waited till lunch to log on.

It went perfectly. Spot is gone and the brakes still squeak. So everything's back to normal.

Jamzwayne,

What I have to know is how you got away with giving your wife a vacuum cleaner for Christmas. I could do that and then wrap up a log as her second gift so she could beat me over the head with it.

I did get her a stove one year....but she asked for it...

I second the motion on the Bissell Little Green Machine. Worked great on a stain on my truck seats, put seat covers on a week later. No more problems!

I was wondering this exact same thing.. I know if I got my fiance' a vacuum for xmas it would be a very quite ride home... and once my Mom asked my dad for a scroll saw (for her wood carving hobby) so my dad researched them and went out and bought a real nice one.. and well needless to say that wasn't a wise xmas gift choice.. so just because they may ask for a nice power tool or appliance, doesn't mean they want it for a christmas gift.. they just want it as a hi honey nice to see you gift...

McDonald's strikes again! I had my quarter pounder in my left hand so as not to drip grease on my center seat again. Had the steering wheel in the right hand. Had the soda in the right center console cup holder.

Pulled into traffic w/ a right turn, the soda tips. Lid stays on, but soda is just drizzling out the straw onto the driver's seat. I couldn't do a thing until I got all the way into traffic. All I could do is sit there and watch it pour onto the seat.

Tried to clean it w/ a laundry detergent/water mix. Now I have a two-tone driver's seat.

May I suggest perhaps a change to Wendy's. It does appear you are McCursed.

For those kind of accidents, I use Bluemagic carpet stain and spot lifter. This stuff is great for just about any kind of stains, coffee, blood, grease, tar ect. Works wonderful. I picked it up at Bumper to Bumper parts store if I recall.

Oh, man. You need a "sippy cup" and a roll of Visqueen.

Oh, you guys are killing me! People around me here at work are looking at me wondering what is so funny! I had a Dr. Pepper explode all over me the other day. Soaked the seat and my crotch. Thank God I didn't have to get out of the truck for about an hour. People would think I had a need for Depends.

I use it whenever I detail my truck. Works great.
Also a little off, but I use the Hoover steam cleaner on my Light Gray Easy Stain Seats.
I do not know what was in Fords pointy little head when they put light gray unprotected cloth in a pickup...

A side note, we had two different Bissell machines, and they were both junk. Parts broke on an every-use basis. We gave up and let Costco have them back both times. The folks there agreed that it was not a good unit, quality wise. Cleans nice though.
Bought a Hoover steam cleaner at about the same price. Works the same way, much better quality. We have used it for 18 months now, and never a problem. It also works nicely with the Bissell brand chemicals.

Oh and newly added, a couple napkins spread over the exposed part of the seat. (This set-up only good for those without the flow-through console.
I must also revise my original cafeteria cab setup. Cup now goes in the right pull-out cup holder and the fries get wedged in the left one.

You might want to consider legal action. If a woman can get big $$ for hot coffee. You should get something for the stains.........They really should put a warning lable on their products.......THIS PRODUCT MAY CAUSE STAINS IF EATEN IN YOU CAR OR TRUCK.
