BFGoodrich Tires

My Screw Lariat came with BFGoodrich – Radial Long Trail T/A P265/60R18

So far, I got about 8,000 miles on them and rotated once. I’m satisfied with them so far. Had Ford rebalanced them initially because of a slight vibration. They found one bad tire and replaced it. Something about the Road Force.
(I think that a technical way to say the tire is out of round)

Does Ford use the same tire nation wide, or does it change with the region?
Would like to hear what you think about this particular tire.

I think they use the same tires nationwide, but do use different models depending on size and type. My LTs are Goodyears. There are also some other brands used.

I have the same tires on my truck. I don't care for them that much, not aggressive enough for me. I have 10,000 miles and I already notice wear on them. I wish they would have stuck with the Goodyear Wranglers like I had on my '02 FX4. They were more aggressive, lasted forever and got good traction in all weather.

I don't like mine. I guess it's just "murphy's law" but I've already picked up 2 nails with the same tire and also took a small chunk out of another one. I still travel the same roads I've always travelled with goodyear and firestone tires and never had this kind of luck with those tires. I've heard that BFGoodrich tires used a very soft rubber compound. I also agree that they're not aggresive enough for the FX4.

So whats a good tire with a nice aggressive tread that isnt too loud? I always thought the BFG AT was the best out there. I would go with a Mud tire but I hear they are very loud.

BFG AT is a good all around tire. If you plan on doing a lot of hunting or spending a lot of time off road, then the MT might be a better tire for you.
