New guy here... introduction.

I just registered here and wanted to introduce myself.

I've been a regular over at FTE since just before I bought my 2004 F-150. Known at FTE as baja_stx. Honestly I joined here because it seems like there's a lot less complaining going on about the new F-150... seems more enthusiast based.

Anyways,

My name's Rich. I'm a Prototype Mechanic at Ford Motor Company and have been working on the P221 (2004 F-150) for almost 3 years now and I just recently bought one myself... Lariat 4X4 SCAB Black on Black.

Truck Wishlist:
Fabtech 6" Lift w/ optional CV's and SS's
BFG AT 315's
Common bolt on's - Intake, Catback, PCM tuner.
Tinted windows.

Just for the record. My truck is about to hit 1000 miles and the only problem I've had/have is a sticking slip yoke.

My truck has been at the dealership since April 26 awaiting a new production run of driveshafts.

At this point, it's futile to engage in excessive whining.

Welcome, I also quit reading the FTE board because it's turned into complaint city. You'll be happier here

Welcome, and let me know when you figure out what exhaust has the best sound and what intake produces the most power. I've been reading these boards for a while now and still haven't figured that one.

Rich/Baja150,

Welcome aboard!

What took you so long to buy an '04 F150?

I'm sure your contributions here will be appreciated.

Welcome,

I have checked out a couple of the other boards also, and I feel this is the place to be.

hey nice to see a familiar face, I bounce back and forth between FTE and here, lots of good people at both. Things are a little looser here too. Welcome!

Baja, welcome aboard. Did you work on all aspects of the F150, or do you specialize on certain parts? I am sure everyone here is drooling for information you may have.

Sweet. Truck sounds nice.

I checked out that board also and it seemed more like a beach-session to me as well.

I'll throw mine in with tongue-and-cheek ... you mean Ford has mechanics that are enthusiasts????!!!! just-kidding, sorta

Nice to know you, Baja
