04 Weight?
Hey everyone. I weighed my 04 F150
4x4, Supercab, 5.4L, Auto, 3.73 ratio+L/S, trailer pkg., and 18" rims with the factory BFG's.
3380lbs on the front axle
2520lbs on the rear
for a total of 5900lbs.
This includes a full tank of fuel and say 60lbs of misc equipment.
As soon as I can get time and an open stretch of road I'll hook up my gtech meter and try to get some power numbers.
Has anyone else weighted their trucks? Wow these are heavy. Its amazing that I can get 17mpg, soft ride, and stop with that much weight.

That puts my current weight with a full tank at about 3 tons. It's enough weight to make me doubt that a 5.4 can make 20.3 mpg consistently, tank after tank, as reported by some.

Yikes! Those '04's are heavy! My L weighs in at 4860 with me in it. Ford should've increased the displacement to a 5.6 or 5.7 Liter for '04 to help offset the weight increase.

You can't weigh a truck that way and come up with the total weight.
