Back again...

Infrequent poster, frequent reader.

Just picked up my 3rd F-150 yesterday. Started with a 1999 XLT SuperCab, then got a 2002 FX4 SuperCrew, and now a 2004 Lariat SuperCrew.

Currently researching tonneau covers. I had an UnderCover on my last truck, and a Pace-Edwards on the '99. I'm looking for something (mostly) waterproof, lockable, easily removeable/openable, and ideally, one that doesn't have to be left behind. Off to search....

Looks great! Some good pictures there!

It's also nice to see another local on here too! It's driving me nuts though...where were you when you took those pictures? I swear that place looks familiar.

Cheers.

Thanks!

It's some office building near the RBC Center. My GF was there taking some tests.

Okay, I thought maybe it looked like one of the places off of Weston pkwy, but really wasn't sure.

Cheers.

nice ride!

I just put an Advance folding cover (2 panel) on my FX4 Screw. I like it alot, and I haven't noticed any water in the bed. It's easily removeable by undoing two bolts. Sorry no pics yet, but if you do a search, you'll see that others have installed the same cover and have pics of it, and generally everyone likes theres.

I had a RollnLock on my last ride (Sport Trac) and wasn't too happy with it. It rattled alot and water got in very easily around the tailgate area.

Congratulations on the good looking truck you have there. I hope you enjoy it as much as we are enjoying ours.

I think I'm leaning toward the Advance folding cover. Seems like it's the closest thing out there to meeting my needs.

I had the Advance cover on my '02 Sport Trac. When I traded in my Sport Trac I took it off and sold it. I then got one for my new SCREW. I have been very happy with both of them. Easy to remove if necessary and fairly weather tight.

Just my 2 cents

Steve

Access Limited Tonneau is what I have on mine and it is great. Bars roll up with the cover, no snaps, snap down lock at tailgate (cover can't be opened without opening the tailgate to unlock). It's a great cover and I only had minor leakage once so far when it sat on an incline in the driveway for about 26 hours of heavy rain and I think the water got in when I pulled out of the drive and had to brake quick causing the water on top of the cover to slosh forward toward the cab.
