and I had my two teenage boys in the car - they wanted me to race him... I thought better and refrained. It kind of bums me out that that Fugly piece of dung is faster than my truck. I am planning to get the Stage 1 upgrade and be prepared for these types of situations but it still sucked! I wonder if the 05's will be faster - that would suck too!

Its all the crappy plastic that makes em lighter and faster (styrofoam seats, cheese cloth carpeting, etc.) dont feel bad there engine is maxed where ours has much room to grow.

 

All i do is look over at their truck and shake my head, as if i don't even acknowledge their trucks existance. I think that bothers them even more.
Then when he is stopped at the next red light, i laugh.

 

I know that would bother the hell out of me, especially if I had the Right of Way.

Dont give it a second thought. Thats all they have to show for buying the ugliest truck on the market. It might be a little faster than our trucks, but whos gonna know, everyone will miss the race because they will be busy tossing their cookies after looking at their ugly truck.

I thought I was the only one who gives those ugly titans and for that matter tundras the "your joking" look. I have the biggest sh*t eating grin on my face with the ever so slight head shake like a disappointed parent. lol Bye the way Are trucks are only a tad slower due to all that leather and quailty carpets etc

pretty sure the titan was modelled after the 04f150 with a little dodge ram thrown in. Nissan was heavy handed in their presentation (especially in the styling details and the top arch of the cab) but if you look carefully you can see the clear resemblance between titan and f150. I am not saying the titan is a nice looking truck or even that it looks 70% as good as the f150. Ony saying there are similarities.

 

As Screwdrive told a driver of a Titan a couple of weeks ago, you can make a F150 go faster but the Titan will always be ugly. Hilarious!

I've been trolling Titan and Hemi pages, and they pretty much stick to flaming each other, with an occasional hit on us.

Hemi and Titan guys seem to only like talking about beating each other at the stop light and track.

Too bad the Titan is ugly and the Hemi has Dodge quality (or the lack of it).

All you and they need to know is that the F150 is the best selling vehicle in the world, no matter how those guys try to make up for their other shortcomings

I to trolled the Titan boards for a while. Actually I saw a Titan comercial and thought it had in the small print that the Titan GCWR was 8500 or something near that. So I was attempting to find out what it was. On the first one I had to explain what it was several times in one thread then finally gave up on that board. Went to another and got someone who knew what it was but gave me a link where I had to buy the owners manual.

The boards I went to seemed to have a lot of complaining about quality of certain things on the truck, but as here most seemed to be happy with their purchase.

There are people who post "ratings" for all of the trucks. Its amusing to read. MSN should change the name from "Rate this vehicle" to "bash this vehicle"

 

I justed checked that MSN site out, it is pretty funny, but whats better are the "expert reviewers"
They said the cons to the F-150, and Dodge were: needs lots of room to park, high step in, etc. I think they need to be reminded...THEY ARE TRUCKS! Morons.
