They said the cons to the F-150, and Dodge were: needs lots of room to park, high step in, etc. I think they need to be reminded...THEY ARE TRUCKS! Morons.

or how about :

"I can't believe how much fuel this thing uses. My Civic never used this much gas"

or

"It's really slow. My Camaro was way faster"

I like Ann Jobs' "con" for the F150. "Exterior styling hasn't changed much."

Really?

Cool

I pulled into Autozone last evening and saw this ugly white pickup. It appeared to be new. When I got closer, I noticed it said "Tundra". Wow, I had not seen one yet. Looks terrible. Looks like Godzilla meets Dodge Ram in a bad Japanese movie.

Kind of surprizing. The Tundra is a pretty decent looking truck. It may not be the truck our Fords are, but it is still a well built decent looking truck. The Titan however, is butt ugly...

My buddy has a Tundra. It's actually not a bad looking truck, but in the end it's still a trucklette.

I don't mind the look of the Tundra personally but, there's one that is out now (and I've only seen them a couple of times), that has the wrap-around-the-side teardrop looking tail lights. Not quite my style I'd have to admit...

Still though, I respect just about anything that is out there on the road (from Fast and Furious Civics to '67 Vettes to an old Chevy Nova) that someone is willing to take good care of... I mean, variety is what helps the world spin 'round and round and thus, I'm very glad that we have options.

I SEE HOW IT IS, YOU CAN CALL OUR TRUCKS UGLY AND JUNK, BUT WE CAN NOT DO THE SAME.

I find it extremely hard to believe that a DOHC 5.6L V8 is "Maxed out" at 305 HP and 379 TQ. It would seem as though that motor is detuned and has tons of potential.

You can't deny it's still just a Honda Acord on steroids. Cheap crap looks the same inside as it did in the early 80's.
(I know Honda and Nissan are not the same company, but I'm going for effect here... I could replace Acord with Sentra, almost the same... lol)

Ugh, Titan came in first.

I was watching "Spike" TV late this afternoon and they had the Car & Driver Magazine show on. They rated 5 comparable 4x4 trucks, Chevy, Dodge, Tundra, Titan and an F150. Unfortunately, they gave the Titan the number one spot with the F150 coming in second followed by Tundra, Dodge then Chevy.

For the test, they drove them something like 600 miles to the desert in Calif. and then played around with the 4 wheel drive. They had a great shot of the Dodge getting hung up on top of the sand dune and I am pretty sure it was the F150 pulling it off.

just so you guys know, i own a 96 F150 also. and i am building a twin turbo mustang. so as you can see, i am not a ford hater, i just happen to like the nissan alot more then the current F150 truck, i would not had minded a 97-03 truck, but the new are just not for me.

Sneaky,

Here's how it is bud. I have no problems with you sticking around here and enjoying our services but, I'm simply not going to allow a constant stirring of the pot in here. Yes, there have been some errant blows thrown by several members here speaking their piece about how they dislike the Titan however, you must remember, this *IS* a Ford F-Series Message board and the same thing is going on over on the Titan boards. Fortunately, on both boards, the bashing is kept to a minimum by the moderators in order to steer the course and provide a FREE service to its members.

Long story short, I'm not here to babysit. I won't tolerate walking in the door and intentionally 'working' the members here into a sense of being pissed off and simply walking away. This, my friend, is why I've been deleting, not only your posts, but a good majority of the posts following my initial response. It's not targeting you specifically but rather the act of stirring the pot.

So, with that being said, I'm going to close this thread out as it's seen its day, gone the distance, and is spinning hopefully out of control.

Please feel free to enjoy the rest of the f150online.com site and I'd love to see some pictures of that Stang' once you get her up and running. I'm sure it's a sweeeeet machine!

Take care.
