Hi dlrrlr (how is that pronounced?
),
Welcome to the forum.
You need to correct the link in your post. Try this one:

So far I only see the main gallery picture...no album pics.
What wheels and tires are they? I think they look good...maybe a bit heavy on the chrome for my taste, but that's all. What lift do you have...?

Newbie mistakes
Thanks Black_Screw and Jonanddar. Leave it to a newbie to screw up his first post. The wheels are 20" Helo Rhinos with Toyo Open Country 275/60/20s. The lift is the Daystar two and half inch lift.
dlrrlr,
I'm more for the polished look, but that looks pretty wicked. The stance of your truck is exactly what I'm after. I have the same truck and have been searching for wheels, but there is next to nothing available under 20". I'm leaning toward 18"s to keep some of the off road capabilities intact. Also, I'm probably sticking with polished wheels as chrome are prone to chipping when roughed up. I just can't find wheels that excite me enough to drop the big bucks. The selection of non-chrome, under 20" wheels available is pitiful. Centerline has a few, but I have yet to see them in person.
Speaking of pitiful, I have yet to install my Daystar kit. I've only had the kit for 5 months and I have over 10K miles now. Now, that's procrastination! I have got to stop reading all the post about the negative/positive effects of the Daystar lift and just get off my butt and do it. I only intend to install the upper spacer because that should put me about level when towing my boat.
Someday I will stop dreaming about the lift and wheel upgrade and make it a reality. These trucks look so much better sitting level with interesting wheels.

Nice Wheels, sort of has a super-sized stock look......
I'd add a smooth roll pan and blacked out tail lights next.
I guess you need a Black 04' topost here

Hey dlrrlr, welcome and congrats on the wheels. I to have a black scab and am looking to upgrade the factory wheels. I like what you have am would like to see more pics. I am curious as to what offset you have and how far the tires actually stick out from the wheel wells.
Thanks
I wanted 18" wheels and tires also, but there were not to many choices out there. So I went with the 20"s. The problem with 20"s are finding all terrain tires. I think the only ones out there are Toyo Open Country and BFG's. I went with the Toyo's because they were about a hunderd dollars cheaper per tire. The offset on the wheels is positive six. The tire sticks out about a half to an inch, but only the side wall. The tread is all under the fender. I was kind of surprised knowing the factory wheel is somewhere around a positive 40 offset. Also the nerf bars are Westin, they went on easily. I"m trying to get more pictures soon, I've added a couple more. Thanks again.
I think what you have is a 6" backspacing, which if I am correct is around a +35mm offset. I researched this big time when buying my 20's. I have a +44mm postive offset with 275/55/20 Goodyears. I stick out about a quarter inch or so.
dlrrlr : thanks for the new pics I was able to see as accuratly as you can form a pic what I was looking for.
newcrew : I thought I understood the offset deal but I just want to make sure, A 6" back spacing is fairly close to stock offset correct. I understand it will be not exactly the same, but I would like to keep as much tire under the wheel well as possible.
All in all nice wheels and thanks again for the new pics

'JDaddy,
Yes a 6" backspacing is **close** to stock, I believe it is around a +35mm positive offset. Every tire and wheel dealer I visited tried to sell me +30 or +35 offset. I visited a few local dealers that had 20's and 22's installed and they ALL had the tires sticking out over an inch outside the fender. This is something I did not want. My advice to anyone wanting to put 20 or 22" rims on the 04, is to stick with a +44mm or larger positive offset and forget the backspacing equation. Boze will make a custom offset, but they are very expensive. Kaotic makes a 6 spoke wheel that has a +48 offset. The stock 04 6 lug rim is a 6X135MM +44 mm offset. Another problem that I has was finding a wheel that was not too much bling-bling. I am on old fart with two kids, I wanted something mellow. I ended up with a +44 on 275/55/20 Goodyear LS tires.

I'm looking at the Weld EVO Velociti's and I've seen them looking perfectly normal on some guys truck BUT they are listed as having a 5.54 backspacing and 20 mm offset which seems much too low. This is so damn frustrating!
