Cool Anyone got any off road Pictures yet?

I'm curious as to how the new configuration does off road... anything much different with the extra weight? perhaps better traction... GG

this has been covered a little bit before, but I am happy to show my pics again. i have not taken any more pictures while off roading since this trip to Glamis last year around thanksgiving. it's just too much fun to think about stopping to take pictures! my truck is completely stock and it did great in the sand. great traction from the radials (LTs) and powered easily over the dunes. i am completely satisfied. it'd be nice to lift and put new wheels and meats on it, but all of that costs money i don't have right now. there are more pictures in my gallery.

What??, no flag? I thought everything at Glamis had to have some sort of flag attached for safety reason...no rangers around huh?
Excellent pics

exactly. i didn't have the whip on it yet. we had just gotten there that afternoon and we snapped some quick pictures. it was the first time the truck had seen anything but pavement. it was pretty close to camp too, so the rangers didn't care. now if they find you way out there on a hill without a whip, they will be happy to give you a citation. you know how it is.

my buddy has a big ol' light up whip with a strobe light on top on the back of his chevy 2500. it's pretty good at night. you can see it here:

I've sported around where BM was and it has plenty of traction but does feel heavy. Car and driver had that truck shootout and had all the trucks including the 150 all the way in the air on dunes like pictured above. It did bottom out the front end on the transition at the bottom of the hill but I don't have the ***** to try it. Not yet anyway's I didn't get caught without the flag either

When you guy's hear a loud (stereo) Black FX4 flying through there, it's me on the way to my river house. I pass through there a couple times a week from October through January. Heading through there in a couple hours from now.

I have run lots of miles on improved surface roads and it does awesome. They are graded dirt with lots of gravel here and there with sand wash runoffs in between. Has never gave me any unexpected push or pull and sticks like a slot car in 4 wheel drive. It locks down and get's with it. Running those roads doing 60 is a blast!

Brew- When you were playing around out at Glamis, did you drop the air pressure in your tires significantly? I drove my "old" '01 Screw on the beaches of El Golfo Mexico couple of years back and with the pressure dropped to something like 15 psi or so, it did amazingly well in the soft sand. Just curious how you or anybody else did it on the dunes of Glamis.
