Cool Bedrug + Access Limited finally installed!

After 3 months of waiting, the Bedrug and Access Limited tonneau cover I ordered finally came in. This in no way should reflect poorly on the vendor of the items as they were not even available from the manufacturers until a few weeks ago.

Anyway the install of each was fairly straight forward. My biggest struggle was installing the side rails of the cover. You have to drill (4) holes in each bed rail for the mounting clamps. I wasn't enamoured with drilling holes in my new truck, but I figure the over will always be on while I own it. The problem was the length of the clamp mounting bolts. If Access would supply the kit with 1/4" longer bolts, my install time would have been cut by about an hour!

Anyway here are some pics of the finished product. I am pretty happy with the way things turned out. The Bedrug is great, especially for hauling my most common cargo.. 2 weimaraners! They love it. I really like the ease of use on the cover, plus the fit and finish is really good. The only thing I dont like all that much is the way the corners of the cover bunch up.

Here are some pics if you are interested...

Next up are some splash guards, a Lariat center console
(black leather), and some tint on those front windows.

ssnake,

You mentioned the bedrug just became available several weeks ago. This is not accurate. Your dealer should of been able to get it months ago. I got mine probably 3 months ago or so.

Not really my point to posting to you, the real point is to tell you that she looks good.

Hi Freddy,

I think that the bedrugs for the regular bed trucks were available months ago... however they were delayed in releasing the flareside version. When I first inquired with my dealer they were unsure of delivery, so I contacted Wise directly and that was they answer they gave me.

BTW... I think I found a really good source for this kind of stuff. The price for the Bedrug was $275 and the Access limited $350. Is this a good deal?

Yeah that sounds like a good price, I have the regular bed for Screw and it cost $335.00 plus my wife had them install it for another 50. Wish I would of known that....LOL

Thanx for the compliments guys.

I bought my stuff through Meyer Distributing. They are my local distributor for Agricover, and happen to sell Bedrugs as well. I found them by contacting Agricover and asking for my local rep. I live about 2.5 hrs away from their shop in Jasper, IN so I had each item shipped when they came in. In my shopping for the best deal around, they were the best price by quite a bit.

Shipping on the bedrug was $25 and on the cover $15. The guys I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. I hope they dont mind this little bit of advertising!

Their number is 800-456-3451... I talked with Cody.
