It was $550 plus tax total. Custom bent (standard bends not mandrel) cat back pipes, single in dual out 40 series muffler, aluminized/stainless pipes, and dual stainless tips ($50 each). Nice deep throaty sound especially between 1500 and 2000 rpm's. Not as loud as I expected at higher rpm's but we'll see if that changes with time. I giggle like a schoolgirl everytime I start it up! Oh yeah, I had it done at a local exhaust shop called hp racing so there was no shipping costs. Also, no noticable change in hp or mileage. After looking on the exhaust forums here, I decided to go with the flowmaster over the magnaflow.

Did it have a nice deep rumble? NOT sound like a pissed off bumble bee?

Yep, actually when it was idleing and at freeway speeds, sounded like my 4.6 i have now.
Only when you put your foot into it from a standing start could the trained ear tell it was a 6.
I replaced the stock muffler with the 40 series flowmaster, and still used the stock pipe out the back. Cost was 150.00 total.

He's right, I had an 89 ranger with dual flow's and people always asked me if I had a 5.0 v8 in it.

APPROVED

To quote MumfordF150:

I have been approved by my Account payable dept. (aka Wife), to get the exhaust done tomorrow(Flowmaster Super 40).

Also, I can get my toolbox, but the bedliner will have to wait for at least 2 weeks.
