Got my truck re-flashed today
#16
Someone posted in a different thread that he thought there were specific reflashes for specific problems. If this is true, perhaps there is a specific version which cures the throttle hesitation and the latest one may be geared towards something different. Anyone know if there is any validity to this line of thinking?

There are not multiple selections for the dealerships to select. Once the tech hooks up the WDS to the vehicle, it will tell them there is a newer
flash available. There are a couple of issues with some dealers however. They should be hooking up to the Ford network nightly to keep their calibration data bases updated on WDS. In reality some will wait untill they receive the new CD set to update the data base-therein lies the issue.....you may not be getting the "latest and greatest" but the latest available by the CD set.....

tpeterson,
I'm at 2050 right now, and if Ford doesn't comeout with a way to improve the throttle response and Troyer does, I'll also go with Troyer.
I'm just curious what it would cost to have Troyer do future flashes, since I wouldn't want to take it to Ford and have them undo what I paid to have done.
