Gas

I filled up my SCrew (2800 miles) last weekend at $1.63 gal. Guess I will stop complaining about that. I have the 5.4 and 3.55 LS and get about 11 MPG in city and 14.5 highway. Some of that is my fault. As I tell newcomers here: "God put big V8s in our trucks and SUVs for a reason." SPEED!

I get about the same mileage on my 99 SCab (60,000 miles) flairside with a 5.4 and 3.55.

You unhook the battery while leaving the head lights on to drain residual power. Let it go for 10-15 minutes. Come back and hook the battery back up, turn the truck on and let it idle for 10 minutes. That will allow it to "learn" the new mods. Then take it out for a 15-20 minute spin to "learn" a little of your driving habbits. Nothing much to it.

I am not sure about this, when I unplug the battery, the lights automatically shut off of course. How would leaving the lights on drain the residual power?

Did I misunderstand?
