Magnaflow on my 4.6

I had a shop weld in a Magnaflow SS muffler (14256) and their SS rolled tip using my stock pipes and I just love the sound. After reseting the PCM and letting it relearn, my truck has more snap and it seems like the dreaded hesitation (lag) has disappeared. Did I mention the sound For $200 I couldn't be happier. I couldn't justify the extra $240 for the complete SS replacemnet. If anybody is looking for an inexpensive performance enhancement, this will have you smiling.

To reset the PCM, you need to disconnect the positive battery cable and then turn on the headlights for 10 minutes to drain out the charge in the electrical system. Reconnect the cable and then start your truck and let it idle for 5 minutes. Then take it for a little drive. This allows the computer to sense and adjust for the changes that have been made. i.e. exhaust, intake, etc.
