Donahoe Racing 0"-3" lift
Thanks for the information. I just emailed them to get a price for this setup. I would rather just unbolt the stock setup and bolt in the new setup than have to pull the whole coilover setup apart.
FYI
i emailed donahoe racing last night to find out the release date for their lift, here's their response...
"We will be coming out with our spacer lift in about a month and the coilover kit will be out in about 2.5 months. We will also be coming out with a 6 inch kit, but it takes so much development to finish this kit that it wont be out for 7 months."
i was going to wait for the skyjacker 3" lift but i think i like the donahoe. they both replace the stock coilovers but i like the adjustability of the donahoe units. i would rather replace the stock coilovers than mess around with spring spacers and the like. now i just have to figure out what to do with my autospring spacers that i haven't installed yet.

if it is like the setup for their toyota lifts, i'm pretty sure the outer body of the shock is threaded and you adjust a collar with a spanner wrench to get the desired lift. i guess it's the same basic idea as the daystar like kits with a coil spacer but adjustable without strut disassembly or removal from the truck once the new coilovers are installed. take a look at the install instructions for the toyota's. i'm guessing the install and adjustment for ford will be the same or really close.

Yea, me too! I want to replace those shocks. The FX4's used to have Rancho's installed. I don't know what's on there now. All I know they are black and not red and white like Ranchos.
I like the adjustable coil over idea. You can "dial-in" the actual lift you want in the front.

Yeah, adjustable coilovers are gonna be a hot product for the new F-150's. Pro Comp gives you the option of replacement adjustable coilovers with their lift. I beleive that Rancho is coming out with an adjustable coilover also.
