Leave of Absence
OK. I forced myself to not log on to this forum for 5 days. I think I only cheated once, but only RockPick can verify that, and...'he ain't talkin'.
A word of comfort to those who feel they are addicted to this site... it is easier to quit cigarettes than to not log on to the conversations posted here
After being gone for only a few days, I had to scroll through 4 pages of posts to get current, but I didn't miss anything that would have changed my 'tomorrow'. So for all of y'all that think you can't miss checking this forum 5 times a day without missing something, I'm living proof you CAN do it!! I used the extra time to throw my Lab his goofy ball, wash my daughter's Mustang, actually had dinner with my family - you know, I actually had a life!
There is no 12-step program for withdrawl from this addiction that I know of, but to be honest, I can't wait for the 2005 F-150 Forum... (except that I fear it will be a '2004 and Newer' forum); and I will be as vulnerable to that one as I am this one... sigh...
New owners and prospective owners - check in every hour, it is worth your time. All us veteran owners... pet your dog, hug your family, wax your truck... and see if YOU can go 5 days without peeking!!
